The Mayor of Corby, Cllr Matt Keane, has picked the winning design for his Christmas Card Competition and is now sending out the printed result far and wide.

Congratulations to local resident, Lisa Joy Oliver, who sent in a beautiful picture that she captured of a snow covered view of Willow Brook in Corby.

The winning image was picked by the Mayor of Corby himself and has been printed as the Mayor’s official Christmas card. The card has now been sent to civic heads, charity and other organisations within the county and will even go overseas to our twinning towns, Velbert and Chatellerault in Germany and France.

The Mayor of Corby, Cllr Matt Keane, said:

‘I would like to thank each and every person that took time to submit such great photos to our competition. It was lovely to see the places in Corby that people had captured.

‘A huge congratulations to Lisa, I absolutely loved the picture that she submitted – it was a real beauty shot of Corby’s unique green areas, made even more special by the winter weather.’
