Spring into action and qualify as a cheerleading coach

Put some cheer in your day and gain yourself a Basic Skills Level 2 qualification in Cheerleading right here in Corby.

 

Run by the UK Cheerleading Association, this Cheerleading Basic Skills Course is open to participants from Year 9+ who hold a recognised Leadership Award or adults over 18 years old with some Coaching/Teaching experience.

 

The Course will take place from 10am – 4pm on Sunday 4th June at Lodge Park Sports Centre and will include a mix of practical and theory. The course costs £95 to join and successful participants will receive a Certificate of Qualification which will enable them to become a Coach (or Assistant Coach if under 18 years old) at a Basic Level in schools and community clubs/groups.

 

Throughout the course you will cover:

  • Arm motions
  • Jump technique
  • Cheers
  • Chants
  • Choreography
  • Lesson Planning
  • Health & Safety
