Corby Borough Council’s new SHAPE Dance classes are coming to Priors Hall Park!
The popular dance classes for 4 – 16 year olds is starting the additional session on Tuesday 16th January 2018 at the Priors Hall Park Community Centre on Gretton Road from 6pm – 8pm. (6pm – 6.40pm 4 – 6 yrs, 6.40pm – 7.20pm 7 – 9 yrs, 7.20pm – 8pm 10 yrs old and over)
The Tap, Ballet and Modern dance classes run for 40 minutes and are already held in various parts of the borough from 6-8pm. Currently, there are vacancies at Beanfield Community Centre and Stephenson Way Community Centre every Monday and West Glebe Pavilion every Wednesday.
The classes not only allow young people to learn and develop skills in dance, they will also have the opportunity to take to the stage and appear in the fantastic summer and Christmas shows each year at the Core at Corby Cube.
Sessions cost just £3 each and the first session is absolutely free so youngsters can come along and give it a go.
Corby Borough Council’s Lead Member for Community, Cllr John McGhee, said:
‘We are very pleased to be able to add a further session to our community dance classes that have been going for over 40 years. We hope that this new session will be as popular as our other sessions throughout the borough.
‘The classes are a great way for youngster to have some fun whilst developing their dancing skills and making lots of friends at the same time so we hope that it will be a welcomed addition to the activities available within the growing community at Priors Hall Park’.
