Every 3 months your Neighbourhood Warden takes part in community walkabouts.
For these walkabouts to be successful as possible we would like to encourage residents to join us. This is to help us undertake a thorough inspection and to ensure that we are aware of as many issues as possible. It’s also a good way for you to actively participate in the environmental well being of the estate or village that you live in.
If you are interested in taking part in an estate or rural walkabout or would like further information, please contact Neighbourhood Management on 01536 464603 or e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org.

What type of dogs are illegal to own?
Under the Dangerous Dogs Act, it is illegal to own/sell/breed/give away/exchange dogs of the following type:
The sale of goods from retail premises is governed by the Sunday Trading Act 1994. This Act restricts certain large shops from opening for sale to a maximum of 6 hours between 10am and 6pm. It is up to the owners of those shops to which the Act applies to decide what their opening hours are and since February 2004 there is no requirement for owners to notify the Local Authority what hours they have decided on. This requirement was removed by a Regulatory Reform Order in 2003, in order to reduce red tape for retailers.
