Periodic Review of Parliamentary Polling Districts and Polling Places 2019

Corby Borough Council is undertaking a periodic review of its polling districts and polling places, and is inviting any interested parties, political groups and electors to make comments on any changes to the existing arrangements that they wish to be taken into consideration.

 

Borough, and Local Council wards will not be affected by this review, which is only concerned with polling district boundaries within individual wards. Further detailed information can be obtained from the Council’s Electoral Services Office, or online at https://www.corby.gov.uk/home/council/council-democracy/elections-and-electoral-registration/review-polling-districts-and.

 

Comments must be made in writing and any suggestions for change should give reasons for proposing alternative polling places. Any representations must be made by Monday 4th March 2019. Comments should be submitted in writing to Aaron O’Sullivan at the following address: Democratic Services, Corby Borough Council, The Corby Cube, George Street, Corby, Northants, NN17 1QG or by email to electoral.services@corby.gov.uk. The Council will particularly be taking into account accessibility for all electors.

Following this period of consultation, the Council’s draft proposals will be published online at the above address, with a final decision being made by the Council on Thursday 27th June 2019.
