Northants Care & Repair is back for another year to help Corby residents

Are you a homeowner in Corby looking for home repairs? Thanks to the Care and Repair service, you could be entitled to have these works done for absolutely FREE.

Corby Borough Council is working in partnership with Care & Repair Northamptonshire to run a FREE Home Repairs Service for homeowners of all ages in receipt of means tested benefits or low income.

The service, can support you with a wide range of works, small and large, including repairs, electrics, plumbing, carpentry, home safety, home security and key safes, grab rails and stair rails.

Those who are aged over the age of 65, who are not on low income, but suffer from a long term health condition or disability will receive 50% funding towards the cost of repairs.

Deputy Leader of Corby Borough Council, Cllr Jean Addison, said:

“I am extremely pleased that we are in position to be able to bring this service back for 2019 after it helped so many residents last year. If you are eligible and could benefit from the help of the Care & Repair service, please do get in contact.”
