Electoral Registration Forms, otherwise known as Household Enquiry Forms (HEFs), will soon be hitting doorsteps of every household in Corby as part of the annual canvass, required by law.

Household Enquiry Forms are simple to fill in and just require residents to confirm the names and details of each person living in the property and let us know of any changes to your household (i.e new persons resident) since last year. Forms can be completed via phone, paper form, online or SMS, it couldn’t be simpler!

Please remember that even if there are no changes to be made, you still need to respond. Completion of this form is compulsory and failure to respond is a criminal offence, which could result in a fine up to £1,000.

Any new electors identified from the Household Enquiry Form, will be sent an invitation to register form, failure to register can result in being refused credit, car insurance, a mobile phone contract, hire purchase agreement or mortgage application.

You will find all the methods on how you can return the information listed on the form. However if you require any further details or assistance, please visit Corby Borough Council’s Electoral Registration page, www.corby.gov.uk/home/council/council-democracy/elections-and-electoral-registration or contact Corby Borough Council’s Electoral Office on 01536 464012.
