By Direct Debit
This is the easiest way to pay your rent the payment is made automatically, direct from your bank account, payments can be made monthly in advance. You can tell your bank or building society by using a form which you can pick up from the One Stop Shop or complete this form and post it to: The Corby Cube, George Street, Corby, Northants, NN17 1QG.
Standing Order is another convenient way to pay your rent. You instruct your bank to pay a regular amount to Corby Borough Council. To pay your rent by Standing Order you need to complete this form.
- You should allow extra days for your payment to go through the clearing bank system
- You will need to change the amount of your Standing Order each time your rent changes
- You must quote the rent reference number for the bill you are paying
- The council’s bank account number: 46830626 and sort code: 60-06-11
You can also pay your rent, council tax, housing benefit overpay, sundry invoice or planning application using the internet.
Access this facility , follow the instructions and once the payment has been processed the transactions will appear on your account.
In Person at the One Stop Shop in The Corby Cube, George Street
You can take your rent smart card to the office and pay by cash, cheque or by debit card.
You can pay by post using a cheque, a postal order or money order, made out to Corby Borough Council. Send your payment and your rent card details to the One Stop Shop, The Corby Cube, George Street, Corby, Northants, NN17 1QG. We’ll return your Rent Card by post. Always write your name and address and rent account number on the back of the cheque, and please remember never post cash.
Payments are now accepted over the phone by Debit/Credit Card, please call 01536 464618. To make a payment over the phone you will need to have your rent account number, debit/credit card details ready and the amount you want to pay, you will also need a pen and paper to record your transaction number should there be a query. FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS GIVEN OVER THE PHONE.
