Street Naming and Numbering

North Northamptonshire Council (Corby area) is responsible for the naming and numbering of new or existing streets and buildings within the borough boundaries. The Council carries out these functions under Sections 64 and 65 of the Town Improvement Clauses Act 1847 and Section 18 of the Public Health Act 1925.

If you wish to change the name or number of an existing property, or name or number new developments, you will need to apply to this Council. You can contact the street naming and numbering officer by

The street naming and numbering function will be subject to a charge with effect from 21st February 2013.

New Properties
Naming or numbering of 1 to 10 properties	£112.20 + £15.30 per plot
Naming or numbering of 11 to 100 properties	£112.20 + £10.20 per plot
Naming or numbering of 100+ properties	£112.20 + £5.10 per plot
New Street
Naming a new street	£280.50 per street
Existing Street
Renaming a street where requested by residents and/or Parish Council	£280.50 per street
