The Authority's Monitoring Report (AMR) contains information showing how our planning policies are performing against key indicators. This includes information on housing delivery, employment, environment and infrastructure including developer contributions. The report is produced each year and covers the period from 1st April to 31st March.
In 2008/2009, the former constituent authorities of the North Northamptonshire area, namely Corby Borough Council, East Northamptonshire Council, Kettering Borough Council and the Borough Council of Wellingborough, agreed to produce the first North Northamptonshire Joint Annual Monitoring Report. This decision was made in light of the fact that the area had adopted a Joint Core Spatial Strategy in June of that year.
Previous versions of the Annual Monitoring Report have made use of indicators advocated in national guidance by the government. Although this guidance has now been withdrawn, the indicator set continues to be used in order to maintain a consistent evidence base.
Recent Government legislation has changed the title of this report from Annual Monitoring Report to Authority's Monitoring Report.
The latest North Northamptonshire Authorities' Monitoring Report 2019/2020 is available here.
All previous AMRs from 2008/09 onwards are also available on the North Northamptonshire Joint Planning & Delivery Unit website.
