|1914 - 1918|
August 2014 will see the commencement of the First World War Centenary, an occasion to be marked in this country and around the world, to commemorate the events of the First World War (1914 – 1918) and those who served in the conflict.
Corby Borough Council is pleased to support the Centenary and aims to commemorate those from the Borough who fought, worked or died in the War. In addition, we will be seeking to provide information regarding the direct and indirect impact of the conflict on the nine communities that today form the Borough.
