What is Supported Housing?
Supported accommodation is housing for older people with a support need, disabled or those unable to work because of a medical condition but are able to lead independent lives with some assistance.
All supported housing schemes are linked to an emergency alarm service manned 24 hours a day, 365 days a year from a remote contact centre. Many schemes have facilities such as a community room, guest room and laundry room.
