Northamptonshire Waste Partnership

Corby Borough Council are part of the Northamptonshire Waste Partnership, who have an active Waste and Energy Education Team. 

This team increase the awareness of energy efficiency and waste reduction and promote the benefits of looking after our natural environment through recycling and reducing the demand of non-renewable resources. The team provide a FREE service to Northamptonshire Waste Partnership schools, offering classroom workshops, assemblies, the waste education bus and site visits including landfill, wind farm and our new Waste and Energy Education Centre, in Kettering.

Eco Schools Award

Eco-Schools is an international award programme, ran by the Keep Britain Tidy campaign, that help schools to be more sustainable in the following areas; recycling and waste, energy, travel, biodiversity and water. District of the Future

Corby Borough Council work with Electric Corby CIC on the District of the Future programme. If you are school based in the Borough of Corby which is potentially interested in becoming involved and would like to use the project to engage with school pupils, contact Green Corby for further information.
