There is less than two weeks to go until the Mayor of Corby, Cllr Matt Keane, holds his Civic Dinner to raise money for local charities and the Mayor is asking for a little helping hand to raise as much money as possible.
This special event is taking place on Friday 20th April at the Best Western Rockingham Forest Hotel in Corby, where those that attend will be able to enjoy a complementary drink on arrival and a delicious 3 choice hot fork buffet and dessert.
Following the meal guests will be able to sit back and an evening of musical entertainment.
Tickets for this event are just £25 and all profits will go to Stages and Tribes, two amazing local charities. There will also be raffle taking place on the night, so you might just walk away with a prize too!
For those that are unable to attend there is still a chance to contribute to the event by donating a prize to the raffle. Anything that local individuals or businesses could donate in order to raise further funds for these two Corby charities would be much appreciated.
The Mayor of Corby, Cllr Matt Keane, said:
‘This is one of the big events in every Mayor’s calendar and the last real chance to raise money for our chosen charities so I do hope as many people or companies can help as possible by either buying a ticket for the night or making any contribution to the raffle prizes.
‘Stages and Tribes are two fantastic local charities in Corby that would really benefit from the money raised and so I look forward to raising as much as possible for them.’
