Encourage your family to ‘B-Active’ with Corby Borough Council’s new project

Are you making it your mission to ensure you and your family keep active this year? Hoping to make memories and squeeze in that all important bonding time with those who mean the most to you? Corby Borough Council can offer you all of this whilst all the while, allowing you to reap the health benefits at the same time!

The ‘B-Active’ Family Project is set to launch on Tuesday 11th February with plenty of family friendly activities for you and your loved ones to dive straight into. This project aims to get families to take steps towards a healthier lifestyle, whilst still making time for each other despite busy schedules. From Tuesday, weekly activities will be offered to families of all ages and abilities, whether you like to make a splash, or stay on dry land, there’s something for everyone.

Family-Jam is uniquely designed to allow family bonding in a fun and carefree environment. Each session uses the power of dance to move your way to a healthier you and a healthier family.

Splash-Ercise is a session designed for children under 5 years old and is an instructor led exercise session in the water.

Fun-Ercise where fun meets exercise in a creative and enjoyable environment, specifically designed for families to be able to exercise together. Content will be adapted for school aged children, teenagers and adults of all ages.
