Corby Borough Council has received a total of £681k to help support Small Businesses in the borough following the Government’s recent guidance to support those who were not eligible for a grant under the Small Business Grant and Retail, Hospitality and Leisure scheme.
From Monday 1st June, small businesses in Corby will be able to apply for a discretionary grant to help them through the current pandemic. The online application process will be open 3 days and following this, all applications will be closely reviewed by Corby Borough Council, and the funding will be distributed between those successful.

Leader of Corby Borough Council, Cllr Tom Beattie, said:
“The funding from the government to support as many businesses as we can in the current situation is very welcome. I would urge small businesses to look into whether they may be eligible for this grant and if so, please don’t miss your chance to apply. We are hopeful that businesses can start to reopen in the near future, but in such unprecedented times, we want to ensure our local businesses receive the financial help they need.”
