Covid-19: Corby Borough Council update.

Release Date:
Tuesday, March 24, 2020 - 15:45

Corby Borough Council is regretfully reducing its service to an absolute minimum following the Prime Minister’s speech last night (Monday 23rd March). This is in line with the Government’s instruction and in the best interest of our staff and residents.

As of today, the Corby Cube is CLOSED to the public, including the One Stop Shop and Cashiers, this will remain under review and users are advised to check the front page of the Corby Borough Council website (www.corby.gov.uk) for details of alternative ways to continue using this service.

All Leisure facilities will remain closed to the public until further notice, including Priors Hall Golf Course. East Carlton Country Park car park will also be closed.

Many of our staff will now be working from home, as such all phone calls will be directed to our website where they will find the relevant e-mail addresses to direct their queries to.

Leader of Corby Borough Council, Cllr Tom Beattie, said:

“As a local authority we are fully committed to serving our borough as best we can and we will continue to do this to the very best of our ability. We ask that residents please bear with us during this extremely difficult and unprecedented time, and of course, we ask you all to please stay home and be safe.”

All further updates will be added to the Covid-19 which you can access by clicking here.
