Every 3 months your local Neighbourhood Warden takes part in community walkabouts. Representatives from Environmental Quality, Repairs and Maintenance, Kier Street Services, the Police, as well as residents, are invited to take part in the walkabouts to look at all sorts of issues that may affect your estate or your village.
From looking at untidy communal areas and open spaces to checking for abandoned cars and fly tipping, their role is to ensure that your estate or village is a more pleasant place to live in.
Want To Join Us?
For these walkabouts to be as successful as possible, we would like to encourage residents to join us. This is to help us undertake a thorough
inspection and to ensure that we are aware of as many issues as possible. It’s also a good way for you to actively participate in the environmental wellbeing of the estate or village that you live in.
If you are interested in taking part in an estate or rural walkabout, or would like further information, please contact the Community Engagement & Business Officer on 01536 464603.
