Tenants of the Corby Enterprise Centre have generously handed over £350 to local charities.
The 55 businesses within the Centre hold an annual networking event in which all proceeds of the ticket sales go to a chosen charity. This year the Centre held a BBQ and a fantastic total of £357.26 was raised.
£282.26 was handed over to Corby Nightlight and £75 to the Children’s Diabetes Type 1 Support Group at Kettering General Hospital which was presented to representatives on Friday 28th July.
Gerri Read, Manager at Corby Enterprise Centre, said:
‘We are very pleased with the amount raised and would like to thank all of the tenants here at the Corby Enterprise Centre for their contributions. The BBQ was a successful event and a great way to get all of our tenants together whilst raising money for such worthwhile local charities.’
Since opening in December 2010, the Corby Enterprise Centre, based at prior’s Hall, has become a prospering focus of the business community. The centre is made up of 53 units in total broken down to 38 offices of various size and 15 workshops.
