Corby Borough Council update regarding National Lockdown

In light of the Government’s recent announcement with regards to a second national lockdown beginning on Thursday 5th November, Corby Borough Council will continue to keep services running, with the exception of its leisure facilities.

Whilst East Carlton Country Park and all play areas will remain open to the public, all other leisure facilities in Corby (Lodge Park Sports Centre, Corby East Midlands International Pool, Priors Hall Golf Course, West Glebe Pavilion and Hazelwood Neighbourhood Centre) will close, effective from Thursday 5th November. The Corby Cube will also remain closed, including the One Stop Shop, however we will continue to operate our switchboard from 9am - 3pm, Monday – Friday.

Leader of Corby Borough Council, Cllr Tom Beattie, said:

“Whilst it is extremely sad that we find ourselves in this position again, the health and safety of our residents and staff is at the forefront of our minds. We hope to see our leisure members and customers very soon, but in the meantime, we ask all residents to stay safe and follow the guidelines given.”

Corby Health and Fitness continue to offer FREE online virtual classes via social media open to all members and non-members.
