Corby Borough Council’s Culture and Leisure team are gearing up to deliver an EGGcellent Easter break to youngsters across the Borough as they prepare to leave school behind for two weeks.
SPLAT club will be up and running from Monday 8th – Thursday 18th April at Lodge Park Sports Centre where children are invited to take part in egg decorating and Easter Olympics to get into the Easter spirit along with arts and crafts, football, other sports activities and cheerleading.
SPLAT is open to 6- 14 year olds and runs from 8.30am – 5.30pm for £18 per day or £80 per week. Your child can also attend for morning or afternoon sessions which run from:
- Morning Session – 8.30am – 12.45pm - £9.50
- Afternoon Session – 1.15pm – 5.30pm - £9.50
SPLAT also offers an early bird session for those parents who need to dash off to work from 7.45am, this costs just £1.50.
Children attending full day sessions are required to bring a packed lunch with water bottle, and wear comfortable clothing.
To sign up to Splat Club, you will need to complete a registration form which can be picked up at Lodge Park Sports Centre or downloaded from www.corby.gov.uk/splat, then all you need to do is book and pay for your dates, and then turn up on the day!
If Splat doesn’t take your fancy, there is plenty more activities to get involved with across the borough. Table Tennis, Badminton and Short Tennis are on offer also at Lodge Park Sports Centre for just £1 per person, per hour, from 7am-4pm, Monday to Friday.
Get some friends together for a kick about on the astro turf for just £10 per pitch, per hour between 6.30am- 4.30pm, Monday to Friday.
