One off Grants Pot 2019-2020 - £300k

Due to a number of community groups struggling with the timescale to submit an application to the Councils One Off Grants Pot, it has been agreed to extend the deadline to 5pm Monday 1st April 2019.

Due to the increasing number of requests for funding support and in view of the continued strengthening of the Councils financial position which is showing a balanced and sustainable position in line with the Medium Term Financial Position for 2018/19 and projected for 2019/20, the Council has approved a ‘One off Grants Pot’ of £300k for the 2019/20 financial year. The pot is to support local community and voluntary organisations throughout the Borough that can demonstrate the grant funding can provide added community value.

Corby Borough Council's Small and Health & Wellbeing Grants.

Not for profit community groups in Corby that could do with a helping hand to fund their projects are being encouraged to step forward and apply for Small, Arts and Health & Wellbeing Grants.

The Grants scheme could give out between up to £500 for Small Grants, £750 for Arts Grants and £2,000 for Health & Wellbeing Grants to cover such things as a community event/fun day, materials for use in your project, publicity materials including newsletters and flyers, venue hire, training or even a pilot project.

How does the Scheme work?
Once an application is submitted, it will be checked to see if it meets criteria and is fully completed.
Officers may contact the applicant for further information to support the application.

The application will then go forward to the Grants Committee for a decision to be made by Elected Councillors.
Applicants will be informed of the outcome.

If successful, applicants will need to sign a condition of grant to release payment and complete monitoring forms once the project has been completed.
