Community Walkabouts

Every 3 months your local Neighbourhood Warden takes part in your local community walkabout. Representatives from Environmental Services, Repairs and Maintenance, Shared Services, the Police, as well as residents, are invited to take part in the walkabouts to look at all sorts of issues that may affect your estate or your village.

From looking at untidy communal areas and open spaces to checking for abandoned cars and fly tipping, their role is to ensure that your estate is a more pleasant place to live in. For the dates of the Community Walkabout for your areas view the Neighbourhood Events Calendar.

Want To Join Us?

For these walkabouts to be successful as possible we would like to encourage residents to join us. This is to help us undertake a thorough inspection and to ensure that we are aware of as many issues as possible. It’s also a good way for you to actively participate in the environmental well being of the estate or village that you live in.

If you are interested in taking part in an estate or rural walkabout or would like further information, please contact Marie Ainley-Hall on 01536 464603 or e-mail marie.ainley-hall@corby.gov.uk

For Rural areas contact Suzanne Preston, Rural Pride Officer, on 01536 463177 or email suzanne.preston@corby.gov.uk
