Rockingham Triangle

Rockingham Triangle is home to Corby Town FC and Corby Athletics Club it is situated on Jimmy Kane Way, Rockingham Road, Corby.  It is easily accessible to A6003 leading to A427 and A14 for visitors from further afield.
 
 
In July 2011 Corby Town FC moved into their new stadium Steel Park alongside the existing facility.  Corby Town FC are a semi-professional team playing in the Blue Square Conference North Premier League, for more information www.corbytown.net
 
Steel Park has a capacity of 3,980 including 574 seats in the North stand and space for wheel chair spectators.  The facility complies with Football Association Ground grading level B.
 
The Club has a bar and a refreshment area.
 
Athletics track and stadium is an 8 lane track with a 12 lane home straight.  It can accommodate all field events including pole vault, hammer, high jump and steeple chase for both men and women.  The facility includes floodlights and the stadium has 994 seats while there is viewing available round the whole perimeter of the track.  The track can accommodate events from local shools up to County Championships.  It is registered as a pre-Olympic training venue.  It is the home of Corby Athletic Club www.corbyac.com.  The Club train on a Tuesday, Thursday evening and Sunday morning.  The facility can be hired out by contacting Bill or Carol Boyd on 01536 741094 or billandcarolboyd@ntlworld.com. Corby Athletic Club will staff any events including setting up equipment and providing refreshments.
 
The pavilion is due to be redeveloped to offer 6 changing rooms, 2 officials' rooms and a medical room.  This will be part funded from a grant from the Football Foundation.  When the development is complete Corby Kingswood FC will use the pavilion as its home venue using the community pitches.  Within the pavilion there will also be a gym/weights room operated by Corby Athletics Club.
 
The venue offers excellent car parking for 150 - 200 cars and 8 coaches.  There is also an overspill area.
