Children’s lessons (5 – 11 years) Tuesdays & Thursdays
Divers follow a scheduled programme of training over a 6 week period with an assessment on the final week of the course. If a diver achieves the minimum scores required on all skills in the assessment, they will be allocated a place in a new lesson.
There are 5 booking levels which cover recreational diving with progressions through to elite squads for talented divers.
Children must be confident in very deep water (4m) or have passed stage 4 on the new national plan for teaching swimming.
Teen lessons (11 – 15 years) Tuesday, thursday & Sunday
There are 3 levels (Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced) which covers recreational diving with progressions through to competitive squads for talented divers.
Divers work towards the ASA diving award scheme. Divers will be continuously assessed and moved to the next level as soon as they can complete all skills to the appropriate standard.
Children must be confident in very deep water (4m) or have passed stage 4 on the new national plan for teaching swimming.
Adult lessons (16 years +) Thursdays 8:00 - 8:40
There are 2 levels (Beginner and Advanced)
Divers must demonstrate they can complete certain skills to a competent level before moving to the advanced lesson.
Divers must be confident in very deep water (4m) and be able to swim at least 25m.
Your child will be able to gain certificates throughout their diving lessons.
Instructors will issue certificate request slips on the final week of the course for any awards your child may have passed.
Certificates will be issued by reception at the time of payment.
All certificates are signed by the head coach of the diving programme.
All certificates will be issued without the child’s name or date printed. These details can be either added to the certificate yourself or if you would like your coach to complete it please bring them to your next diving lesson.
Certificate + Badge cost £3.00.

Children’s lessons (5 – 11 years)
Assessments will take place on week 5 of the course. After the assessment children will be issued with a re-booking card that will inform them of what level class and day they need to book into for the new course.
If you wish to change the day of your lesson you can do so after the final lesson of the course. This is to give the divers already attending that day the opportunity to re-book first.
If a customer wishes to change lessons for any reason they can do so at any point during the course provided there is space available. If you wish to move class you must contact the Diving Development Coach to discuss available spaces.
Adult and Teen lessons (12 – 15 years)
As there is no formal assessment day movement up to the next level can take place at any point during the course. In order to do so the coach of the class will complete a pass sheet and you will be contacted with details of your new class and a start date.
On week 5 of the course divers will be issued with a re-booking card informing them of what level and day they should book into for the next course.
