Executive Forward Plan

The purpose of the Forward Plan is to give advance notice of some of the decisions that the Council is likely to make in the future.

The Government introduced the requirement for councils to produce Forward Plans, with the aim of making local decision making more open and transparent for the public, and making the decision makers more accountable to the public.

Each report is allocated to one of the six themes as laid out in the Council's Corporate Plan

• Theme 1 - Regeneration and Growth
• Theme 2 - Climate Change and Environment
• Theme 3 - Economic Development, Jobs and Skills
• Theme 4 - Safer, Stronger Communities
• Theme 5 - Health and Well-being
• Theme 6 - Customer First
