Activity on Referral - Relaunch 1st April 2011

Activity on Referral is a countrywide fitness scheme which is available to join through your GP, Practice Nurse or Health Visitor.  The scheme is based around a reduced rate gym membership and combined 12 week programme of physical activity.

Activity on Referral is available to people over 16 years of age who are currently inactive and would benefit from this tailored approach to getting fit.  All participants are fully supported by trained fitness professionals who will be on hand to monitor their progress and provide help and advice.

Corby Borough Council are striving to give service users more value for money so the following prices are available to those referred by their health professional.

As of April 1st 2011 referrals will be able to use the fitness facilties at their convenience, with specifically designed exercise programmes to meet their exercise needs.
