Perform a good deed for someone in need.
Corby Borough Council believes in safety first and this year will be introducing first aid courses at Corby East Midlands International Pool for those who would like to gain the qualification or simply re-qualify as a first aider.
Members of the public now have the opportunity to qualify and give other people a helping hand when they are in need and it can be done in no more than 3 days!
With the choice of four different first aid courses and a re-qualification course there is bound be one that makes you want to get up and give yourself the chance to be able to perform a good deed.
The choice of courses are:
• HSE First Aid at Work 3 day course (14th–16th May, 10th–12th September)
• HSE First Aid at Work Requalification 2 day course (27th -28th February, 1st – 2nd October)
• HSE Emergency First Aid at Work 1 Day Course
• Foundation Basic First Aid 4 hour course
• Paediatric (Baby & Child) First Aid 2 day course
Dates for other courses will be specified according to the interest shown.
Leader of Corby Borough Council, Cllr Tom Beattie, said:
“Health and Safety is an issue that should always be taken seriously and having a first aid qualification will give you the rewarding opportunity to be able to help yourself and others so hopefully residents will take full advantage of the courses available.”
