Get creative for CEMIP

Grab your chance see your idea on the swimming caps of those learning to swim at Corby East Midlands International Pool (CEMIP). Corby Borough Council is calling residents to bring out their creative side as CEMIP launch a competition for members of the public to name or design a small logo for their very own swimming school.

Every name or picture submitted will be considered to give the swimming school its own personal touch and the winner will receive a FREE 12 week course of swimming lessons, suitable for anyone over the age of 4 years old.

To enter all you have to do is submit your idea to Liz Hudson by e-mailing liz.hudson@corby.gov.uk or alternatively ideas can be sent to the following address:

The competition will close and the winner will be announced on Monday 20th February so don’t forget to enclose a name and phone number/e-mail address when sending in your ideas!

Corby Borough Council’s Lead Member for Community, Cllr John McGhee, said:

“It is a fantastic idea for the public to be involved in branding our growing swimming school. We like to involve the community as much as we can and this is a great opportunity to do so. I look forward to sitting on the judging panel and I wish everyone who takes part the best of luck!”
